Mixed media is creating an artwork from a combination of mediums. I often create artworks by using collage to support mixed media works or create the work completely from my collaged prints.

Pastels have become one of my favorite mediums.  Never having studied the medium in any of my formal art education I took pastels up later in life and apart from attending a number of pastel workshops I am predominately self taught.
