Artist and Graphic Designer

I have worked for may years in the industry, beginning with museum exhibitions in Sydney, moving to the sign industry where I was head of a team of artists at a large sign company and then to the newspaper industry where I created advertising and layout for the publications.   For a number of years I also works from my home studio on a freelance basis for a number of clients.

Over my working life the graphic design industry has undergone some drastic changes as computer technology has replaced hand created artwork and design.  Some skills have been lost but overall I think the ability to create has been enhanced by the possibilities presented by computer graphics.
